Our Junior Committee
The Junior Committee is comprised of graduates who share their experience and insights with the Shoreline team so we can better understand and improve the traineeship model.

Shoreline Graduate 2018
Anthony was the first Shoreline graduate to complete his Certificate II in Maritime Operations. Anthony is employed as a fishing guide by Tiwi Islands Adventures.

Cairns, Queensland
Shoreline Graduate 2020
Regina is employed by Experience Co in Cairns, and was recently promoted from Cruise Attendant to Senior Food and Hygiene Manager. Regina has completed her open waters course, and is working towards becoming a dive instructor.

Jacob received Shoreline’s award for Most Outstanding Achievement in 2020, completing his Certificate III in Tourism with CaPTA group at Rainforestation.
Keegan Nolan

Shoreline Graduate 2021
Keegan is currently employed as a Coxswain with Experience Co. Keegan was also a finalist in the Tropical North Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year 2021.

In 2020, Jasmine was awarded the Business Liaison Association Trainee of the Year. Currently Jasmine is employed by Austal, a global shipbuilder in Cairns.

Shoreline Graduate 2021
Mataya is employed with Great Adventures in Cairns. Mataya won numerous awards throughout her traineeship, most notably a finalist in QLD for School-Based Trainee of the Year 2021.

Shoreline Graduate 2018
Lazarus formed part of the first group to enrol as a Shoreline trainee in Cairns. Lazarus is employed by Experience Co in Cairns as a Cultural Coordinator and Master Reef Guide; Lazarus also provides cultural advisory services to biologists about the reef.
Our Advisors
Shoreline’s advisors provide their expertise and counsel to the Shoreline team. Their breadth of experience is drawn upon by the board to guide the program’s direction. In addition to their consultation to the Shoreline team, they provide mentorship to students.
